For anyone thinking of buying a 2GB SODIMM, I found this Transcend TS256MSQ64V6U module being sold by MemoryC for less than Euro150 (~£100 delivered). At the time of posting this the total cost is Euro139.51. Transcend may not be one of the biggest names in the memory business, but they seem to be OK.

For some reason, this module is not listed through the MemoryC site menu system but Google took me to the page while I was looking to check Orcalogic's price for the same part. I ordered one and it was delivered within a week. I am now using it. MemoryC will deliver to many countries.

the timing is (according to CPU-Z) 5-5-5-15-20 at 333/667MHz and 4-4-4-12-16 at 266/533MHz. This may not be the fastest part on the market (this Corsair part from Scan says it is 5-5-5-12) but is the cheapest by a significant margin.

Anyone got any other good prices on 2GB modules within Europe?
