Is cyperpower and fangbook a good company for gaming laptops? I'm looking for a cheaper alternative to the sager np9377-s

I should be receiving one of these early next week and I'll try to let you know how it goes. It was a different special, but same pricing options (I lost out on the free keyboard tho!)

The laptop chassis is actually manufactured by MSI (I asked the customer service). It is hard to get details for which model exactly. Maybe you guys can help me with that?

As far as them being reputable, from what I hear, don't expect too much out of the customer service portion of cyberpowerpc. With my experience so far, my order was delayed 1 week due to not having the processor in stock. I had to contact them to find that out as no email was sent. Overall, that is not a big deal to me. If I stayed with the i7, it probably would have been in stock.

When you order from these guys, you have to be okay with delays and poor communication. Also, their website chat always says "offline" during the hours they should be on. You have to click like you're going to "customize" a laptop and then click the support chat there. I think that's kind of weird, but whatever.

From what I've read and heard from others, especially with the RAM, be sure to upgrade to G. Skill or something specific. If you get a tower, be sure to upgrade the power supply. The "other major brand" can be really cheap and others have reported it not working when shipped.

With all that in mind, these laptops are very well priced. I took a chance on them because another person I spoke to had a great experience with them. If you add up all the components, it actually would cost more to build. Xotic PC might be "better" for fool-proof customer service, but they don't have them "sweet, sweet" deals and freebies!
