I got myself a black 360 controller, and play and recharge kit, including shipping for $8.99 after $50 off due to getting their revolution card.

You can get it here: http://www.buy.com/corp/revolution_offer.asp?&&adid=17928&dcaid=17928

Once you are accepted, just choose to pay with that card and it will take 50 off your order. :) Hope this helped you guys.

    Thank you, that looks delicious.

And yes its a credit card, with an extra pin number for security. So you have to enter your pin number when you swipe and select atm/debit. I'm never gonna use it...but i need a new controller ;)

I don't know too much about credit cards but do all of them have a "minimum payment"? Like it says in the accountholder's requirement section:

"Minimum Payment - The minimum required payment on your account for each Billing Cycle (the “Minimum Payment” ;) is (i) the greater of (a) 3% (three percent) of the statement balance or (b) $10.00 (ten dollars); plus (ii) any past due amount or any amount by which the new balance exceeds your credit line, whichever of these two is greater. If your new balance is less than your Minimum Payment, your new balance is due in full. You may pay any or all of the amounts you owe at any time without penalty, but you must pay at least the Minimum Payment within 25 days of the closing date of the billing cycle, which is shown as the “Payment Due Date” on your statement"

So doesn't this mean you HAVE to pay 3% of your statement or $10 even though you haven't used your credit card?

Do all credit cards do this...? Obviously it won't matter for people who use their credit cards periodically, but I'm assuming that it's there so people don't abuse the free $50.

Just something I noticed. Please forgive me if I'm being ignorant.

Yes you have to pay a minimum balance every month you have a balance left on the card. When you don't pay the entire balance off at the end of the month, then the remaining balance gets charged the interest rate. If you dont use your card during that month, you don't have to pay anything (as long as your balance is 0 on the card).

This is standard for every card.

Yeah all credit cards do this. Don't worry there is no catch in that section of their contract. As the part I bolded says, if your balance is less than your minimum payment it is due in full. This means you will have a minimum payment every month, but it will be $0.00 :D

But you have to use the card so you will have some sort of balance....so pay for first month then cancel?

Ditto. Its not worth a 12 month ding in your credit report for a $50 gift card

Not to mention there are better deals to be found for opening new accounts.
