How does CA compare to Kaspersky or AntiVir?
I sell it all the time(The Internet Security is free after MIR with the purchase of a laptop) and always have wondered. -
Kaspersky is unparralleled still. But CA has a nice easy interface, and the license is good for 3 pc's.

Hi.
It`s a pity it`s only an anti-virus.
I will be sticking with AVAST.

AVG > all

Does not support 64 bit Vista. Darn!

I agree with Leon, AVG is crappy, and a resource hog. Anything but Norton is better than it.
-
I like the CA better than NOD32
-
So NOD32 ~ Kasp ~ Bitdefender > Avira (free) > Avast (free) > CA > AVG (free) > NAV?
How are they better? Does someone know system resources to compare or tell me why? Better search algorithm? Comparing which versions (free vs. paid, etc.)?

According to the last site, for Vista 32/64-bit, AVG, Kaspersky, Avira, and Symantec (among a few others) pass both OSes. Don't know how this is measured and what factors are considered. -

ESET either printed the serial number incorrectly on the package or entered it incorrectly in their activation database engine on the NOD32 I purchased.
Then they were complete jerks to correct the situation.
If ESET or any other company requires online activation for software, then they damn well better get it right. -
Oberkanone, I feel it is my duty to inform you NOD32 is much better than CA Antivirus. I am sorry to hear that they didn't handle the situation to your satisfaction, but their AV is better than CA. CA is basic, it does it's job but NOD32 is lighter and has lots of options.
