    Not sure how accurate that is but if its true isnt the access time the main stat on a SSD and the main thing that makes it better than a HDD?

    If so the Phoenix would be twice as slow as the Vertex 2 in that statistic. Most data on the drive is very small files spread around in random locations, thats why the random seek (access time) is so great on a SSD even if the raw read/write speeds are not spectacular.

    Not sure how big a deal .1 ms will make but that is still 2x slower. I want to say a normal hdd is in the 10ms-16ms or so range.
