    i was in need for a netbook with high resolution screen, and this caught my eye.
    i have no idea how good this deal is, and i just need a cheap netbook with high resolution.

    I considered on of those Gateways back when they were at Best Buy. It seems like a good price for what you get, but the 90 warranty is cause for concern. I wonder if these were overstock or refurbished? If they were overstock then it might seem a bit better. Anyone bought a notebook from Woot?

    I bought one of these when they first came out in July. I think it's terrific - and since I upgraded to Windows 7, it runs smoother, faster, and is more stable. I love the screen size and resolution, has the best keyboard of the netbooks IMO, and although it doesn't play HD video perfectly, it's great for almost everything else I do. I highly recommend it.
