u get gift versions of those games, thats what happened when i bought orange box even tho i still had HL2 , i got a gift version which i can give to anyone

CS:S is like 20 on steam, I think you can get it cheaper at a GameStop or Bestbuy that has it on clearance

 

I already own most of the good games on that list already. including left 4 dead. It's a good deal though considering left 4 dead is already half of the total cost.

 

That's a great deal but honestly who hasn't played Half Life or Counter Strike

 

yea... if i diddnt already have over half the games on there, id buy it.....
but i have over half of them, and the other 1/4ish i wouldnt play any way (other then l4d) ill just buy l4d on its own

 

thats probably why Steam wanted to bundle the old games with a new one to entice a consumer.

 

Its not a bad deal if you never played or owned those games. but the Orange Box for like $30 it was (think I even saw it for $20-$25) was by far a better deal and included most of the games except of course left for dead.

The gift aspect is nice too, but problem is supply vs demand. I still have like 2 gift copies of Half Life 2 that I cant even give away as everybody interested already has it.

 

Love this deal. I just used my friend's Steam account to play before, but now I can haz CS, Left 4 Dead and Orange Box all for $100.

 

Deal still good, I just a friend to do it.

I might as well myself since I did not get the Orange Box or anything from before.
