Good question, on desktop its the faster, and the higher version of kingston ram, however on laptops, it seems to look the same (specs wise). So i m not quite sure either
-
Laptop wise it's not the same?? I have hyperX RAM and it's 4-4-4-12 latency, as opposed to 5-5-5-15. It might just be a marketing ploy, but it's allegedly faster than normal RAM.
-
is it ddr2 667? cause at ddr2 800 only has 5-5-5-18 latency, and the ddr2 667 has it at 4-4-4-12.
-
My apologies as I didn't know about the distinction. Yes, it's 667.
-
I think this thread should be updated
The prices are wrong.... -
Their only off by a little...

-
they are overpriced because the first page isn't updated with new lower prices
-

-
wearetheborg Notebook Virtuoso
Yup, expired
-
Any deals on 2 X 8 GB? or 2 X 4 GB?
-
wearetheborg Notebook Virtuoso
Do they make 8GB sodimms ????
-
I think he meant desktop RAM.
-

-
wearetheborg Notebook Virtuoso
No need to imagine, I have the Dell precision M6400 laptop which has 4 sodimm slots, and can have 4x4=16gb ram
-
Laptop memory.
-
No 8GB module for laptop yet.
-
Does they have any deal for DDR3 SO-DIMM 1066?
-
I'm also looking for a deal on 8GB DDR3 1066 desktop RAM (2x4GB)
-
LMAO....to be fair, it is not easy too find the best deals.
-
this page is dead these days... no good deals lately, i m surprised. Usually theres always a free shipping deal on newegg for ddr2-800 rams
-
because the price of ddr2 has gone up lately
-
wow bummer, i should get my 4 gb asap then, darn this.
-
I saw this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820609466 at newegg.com. Cheapest ddr3 4gb module I've seen.
-
ZipZoonFly has a Corsair 2 GB DDR-667 Mac RAM for $16.99 after MIR:
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10007943 -
I can use this RAM in another laptop right? No such thing as "Mac-only" memory right?
Just wanted to make sure, before I buy because it is a good deal...
Oh, and thanks for finding such a good deal -
As long as your laptop takes DDR2 so-dimm modules, it should work just fine. Since Mac uses Intel hardware, "Mac-only" memory is a gimmick. I usually recommend going for the cheapest with lifetime warranty.
FYI, Newegg has 2GB DDR2 for like 23$, so search some sites for some deals. -
Holy cow, ddr2 800 ram is now like 60 dollars for 4 gbs
-
what do i need in order to have my limited lifetime warranty? just a receipt? and do i need to original receipt?
-
Anyone find any good deals on DDR2 2GB Laptop memory? Prices seem to have skyrocketed!
-
why did u bring back a thread thats been dead for over 4 months... and overall over 2 years old...
-
lol...i am used to this thread, it was the one I used some time ago when looking up ram deals, I think its an excellent thread...
Now....I found two deals:
http://www.frys.com/product/5175606?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG
(Cheapest I have found in a long time, but I guess everybody jumped on it and there is no online delivery, and I cannot find it in Atlanta store pickup either.)...Might help some of you if you can find a store that has it in your area.
The second "deal" is more expensive, but it is still at least 10 dollars less than anywhere else I looked: (39 dollars no tax and shipped)

What do you guys think? -
What's the cheapest you guys can find for a 8GB (4GB x2) stick of DDR2 sodimm?
-
Have you tried the one over by Buckhead?
-
but he's totally right. 4 months ago I bought 2gb DDR3 for 23$ with shipping. now you can't get for less then 40$.
correct me if I'm wrong. but I've seen an increase in the price.
HOT RAM Deals! (read first before posting)
