Went into my local going out of business CompUSA today and saw a Xbox box with a clearance 40% off sticker on it, which came to $209 + tax for a total of $228.
So if your local store still has inventory, go down and check it out because this is the best deal I've ever seen on a 360 Premium.
You cant even get a used 360 for this price.
Also, FYI, the final day that my local store, and I'm assuming most all of them are the same, is the 4th, so except in about 9 or 10 days for some steep markdowns, I overheard the salesman and manager discussing this at the counter about some big markdowns on the 3rd or so, depending on sales. I'm going back on the 3rd to hopefully get a dual layer DVD burner for less than $10. They cant send the inventory anywhere so those last two days or so are going to be insane.
My local store had TONS of external enclosures and HP laser refills left, as well as stacks of Canon professional series printers for 40% off, which will be taken down further, and brand new Macbooks for 15% off, which is pretty good.

Anyways, for $209, who cares? -
dam lol i wish i had a CompUSA near my home...

MICHAELSD01 Apple/Alienware Master
When my CompUSA closed they never had deals as good as that. The best would usually be 15%, 20% if you're really lucky. If I could've got deals as good as that I'd buy all their 360 inventory and sell it on eBay to make over $130 on each one.

Plus, most people are selling a 360 with HD and a game or two for less than $300, so after the eBay and PayPal fees I would only make about $30-$40 or less, and to me the hassle just isnt worth it. -
isn't there an ebay strike going on?
-
I picked up a PS3 from mine a month or two ago for 10% off, which was pretty good, but not nearly as good as your deal. I am surprised they even have and 360s around. I know the store by my home sold out of console pretty quickly.
Thanks for the post! -
The nearest compusa is 100 miles away...the 2nd nearest is 120 miles...I dont think im going to make it...Its a shame too, i had one about 20 miles away but it closed a few years ago.

CompUSA has been closing nationwide for over a month now. -
CompUSA isn't closing anymore. TigerDirect bought them out.

All CompUSA B&M inventory is wholly owned by a liquidation company, not Tigerdirect, unless you unfortunately live by one of the 16 bought out locations.
The staff at CompUSA stores are actually employed by the liquidation company too, not CompUSA.
HOTT!! - Xbox 360 Premium $209 - YMMV
