Thanks. I missed out on the earlier HDX16t deal because I wasn't sure I wanted such a bling-ed out laptop, but got on it this time around.

I got the laptop with bluray, backlight, hd tuner, bluetooth and 1080p screen -- and added 2 year accidental with pick up, for $1066 after tax (yay...NYC)

I am sure it will be a nice machine. Can anyone comment on how fast HP ships? It says the 13th...but is there any chance of it getting here sooner?

I order two Dv6ts in the last month and both shipped before their estimated ship date.

Thanks! I actually made a mistake in my description, I added 1 year accidental (I made a mistake during ordering!) and took away the 2 year warranty - I am more than capable of fixing warranty issues. Came out just a hair under $1k. HP customer support was great in fixing my ordering mistake. :p

I can't wait. :) I've owned a ton of laptops, but never one that was in the middle high range. I've always bought the bottom of the barrel.

Man I hope so. I wanted to ship to my workplace, but freaking HP's website couldn't fit the VERY LONG shipping address to my workplace. Now I'll have to take a day or two off waiting for it.

But then I wouldn't have a reason to take a day off. :)
