    Unless there is some glitch on the HP site, it looks like this is also good for the AMD equipped dv6z (provided you nudge the system over the $999 threshold). The discount applies in the shopping cart just fine.

    You can max out a lot of your custom options and still stay under $1000. Or you can just upgrade the graphics card, nudge the price up to the minimum and get a nice multimedia system for $700!

    Yep, works. Be sure to look at the "Price" not the discounted price while configuring, because it bases the coupon on the before "instant rebate" or whatever price. Here's a good config that gets you to $703.
