    hi, does anyone know, if there recently was any good deal for HP laptops? or better yet if there are any good ones going to pop up or are going on right now? I plan on buying this comp. and Im looking for some good deal.....thanks for any help

    Im looking for a 15,4', min 100GB HDD, 2-3GB RAM, decent graphics card.....preferably 1280×1080 or 1440x1080, not more. Its for my brothers girlfriend. she doens need anything fancy, but I want it to be at least decent. max price: $1100

    Check the HP main website, and if you're attending a college/university, you can take advantage of the educational discount. As for the ram, it only takes like $80 or so to buy 4gb of ram, so see if you want to upgrade it or just stick with the ram it comes with. You also save a good $50-100 with the discount.

    I'm gonna say, you should wait for the new hp's to launch, when they do the older models will be on sale, because hp will try to get rid of them in order to make room for the new ones.

    when aprx. are the new hps comming out? I saw that there is quite new HDX series....which look really cool, but im gonna stickl with the older ones b/c of my spending limit....

    is there anything like the dell coupons? I can see dell sales everywhever on the net I go....and when I was buying my laptop, I was couple of hp coupons too, but now I cant find any....
