    I hate to be the one to break it to you guys, but this is about the going rate....in fact you can actually get the exact same config from Sparco or Provantage for less.

    Newegg is one of the best online stores in existance. Checked reseller ratings lately? its 9.75, with almost 12k reviews.
    Because of this, these are good deals. they are not common enough to be called 'going rate' seeing as most places still put a $1699 price tag on that second nc8340 config, and its even more at HP Business store, and its combined with Newegg service.
    Im not a newegg sales rep or anything, but they are quite simply, the best.

    Not really, Newegg offer good prices only in desktop parts, thier laptops prices/specs are not that great. I think most of 12k reviews are people who bought desktop parts if not 99%.
