Seems like a good deal, shame the radiance display isn't an option. Also, choose the 4gb 1 Dimm ram option, instead of the 2 Dimm option (same price).

Edit: Looks like the coupon might be an error:
"Save $200 in instant savings using coupon code NB98223 for the purchase of a customized HP ENVY 14 Beats Laptop configured at $1,149 or greater at the HP Home & Home Office Store."
It says it only works on $1149 configs and up (but it still works with the $775 config).

Edit again: Yep, was an error, doesn't work anymore :( was just about to buy too..

HP cancelled all of the orders, the coupon was an error (it was working for a $775 config, but the coupon is only supposed to work for $1149+)

I tried the coupon before I made my earlier post and it worked although I didn't purchase one. Guess it didn't take them too long to realize their mistake.

Uhm... I ordered a unit and my order status was like Item Processing>.......> Order Accepted> Order dropped to factory. Seems like HP is honoring my order.

Wow I really wish I would have seen this when the coupon, or even machine was still available, considering the i5's aren't even offered anymore.
Looks like they are just clearing inventory for SB envies (lets hope xD)

No, this was a pricing error @ HP.

Many people got their orders cancelled. Some snuck through....

Anyone who's had their order dropped could easily demand for HP to honor it...

It's their problem, not yours, and I'm pretty sure they can be sued for publishing the wrong price if they don't honor it.

I may be wrong, but it seems like that's the way it works, doesn't it?

Nope. It says when you order that they reserve the right to cancel your order at any time for any reason

I think it is part of the agreement you submitted that giving them the right to cancel your order for any reason they see fit. HP has a team of mean lawyers, I don't think they can be sued for a reason such as this.

It's not the cancellation of the order, but rather false advertising- When you say something can be bought for $570 and then jack up the price to $1000 (or whatever was the case with this) because of an error you've made, is probably a no no.

The $570 price tag must have attracted a lot of people to the product, and we don't know whether or not it was an error.

You could at least try and email them insisting that they've inadvertently mislead people on the price, and try to get your order uncanceled..

it was never "advertised" as $570. It was a coupon code for like 200 off of a $1100 configuration that somehow worked for the 700 configuration.

Right. Although weird how it cost $774.99, now it costs 1049.99? $250 more.

It was the dual-core version that was on sale. Now all they have is the quad-core
