This sounds like the only good deal on bestbuy IMO. Really cheap pack.

The printer alone is 70$ so this HP is almost 200$. A good deal I'd say. It has everything for basic activities.

Just got home with this package. Store manager honored the deal even though it was a mistake! While my stuff was being pulled from the back, the web site was corrected & when I walked out of the store they were puting a sign on the door correcting the price. I was the last of 2 people to get the deal. I think the black Friday deal will be $379.99 for this package, so I feel lucky that I got it cheaper & didn't have to stand in line all night.

    WooHoo!!!!!

    Bugeyed -

I was wondering how did you get it for that price - where they already marked for Friday? Just wondering if I need to go to our Best Buy and see if I can get it around that price?

    Let me know.

    Thanks

It was a fluke! I got there before the management had time to recover from the mistaken web site info. Before I left, they had put up a sign on the front door correcting the error, thus not requiring them to honor the deal. When I inquired about the deal they mentioned that it was a mistake & I could have it at that price. They didn't even try to weasel out of it! They had just done the same for another customer. I was the last one before the sign went up on the door & the web site was corrected! Funny thing, when I got to the store at 9:00 it was closed except for the employee door. As I started back to the car, the manager came in & said "wait a minute" & then came back out & said that the hours sign was wrong & they are open. If I had waited until 10:00 they would have already discovered the mistake & put up the sign & not have had to honor the price! Whew!!!!!

What luck you had - I went by ours and they told me that if their truck comes in with alot of them they are going to sell it to me for Fridays price. But I have another question - where did they get the 279.00 price? I looked online for their ad for Friday and it said they were going to be about 499? What price have you seen?

    Thanks

$279.99 was the price on the web site this morning. I was looking to see if the Logitech VX Nano was on sale when I saw that add. It was also listed on several price-watch sites too. The web site changed the price for the bundle to $849.98 before I left the store. I feel soooo lucky!!! Can you tell that I am trying not to gloat! I don't need a laptop (bought a Toshiba a month & a half ago), but my girlfriend is in the market for one. I may keep the printer or sell it on Craigs list.

Best Buy did not honor this offer! I appeared early in the morning at my local Best Buy and they told me to call corporate. Instead, I called the local BBB and Consumer Affairs. This is FALSE ADVERTISING and I'm not going to take it lying down. I suggest you all do the same - complain to your local authorities!

I said read the thread. What is posted here & you will see that the $279.99 price was a mistake on the web site & only honored at some stores that had not yet posted a retraction.

So, the deal is dead. The title of this topic should be changed.

I think the black Friday deal is $350 for that bundle. Nice deal if you want to jump through the hoops they put in front of you. I heard that, this year, once you stand in line & get a ticket for a chance to get one of these deals, they are going to make you get on your knees & beg for the discount. Many will do it, I suspect!
    Cheers

    LOL!
Well, 280$ was a lot sweeter.
