    Hacked account.

"Contact seller @ this email before bidding", "Do not use ask question function", etc...

Well.... previously the guy only sold hockey equipment.

I would have to say while both items begin with the letter "H", the leap from hockey equipment to HP HDX seems rather far-fetched.

In fact, the rest of the stuff the store is selling are also hockey equipment.

I guess you could always email just to find out. Odds are that it's a scam/hacked account though.

Look at the way how the other items in the shop are sold, compared to the current garish look for the HDX.

Scam...notice how the OP is asking to contact via email and not the eBay PM system?

Um he is asking ppl to contact him before they bid to see if the offer is still there. He then provides an email address and says do not contact through ebay, it is very likely a scam. You contact the seller and then he tells you to send the money to him without going through ebay.....

i sent 2 emails, one by using eBay's ask seller question, and one to the picture he/she attached. I requested local pick up since it's only 30 miles away, if it is not scam. i doubt that tho lol

Its a scam. I've seen about 1000 of these on eBay. Tell-tale sign is the "do not use the PM system."

Not to mention that you JUST gave your email away to that scammer...

You'd better be careful...these guys sometimes like to send viruses via email (I would know...someone thought he'd hit me but he had it coming... :D).

Yep, my friend's Mac got hit by a virus and it somehow lingered on the hard drive even after reformatting 5 times. Now, he has a $2500 paperweight. A nice looking one too.
