Dell usually have better deals...that is till gateway FX came into market...so now...i am flip-flopping between keeping my current dell or sell it and buy FX...

 

Last coupon was for $500 off and it expired in a little over 2 days, way before the expiration date. Take it from someone who watched "the coupon you entered is invalid" come up way too many times on the order screen that if you're on the fence, don't wait to use the coupon!

So I logged out of EPP and tried again. It applied the coupon this time.

The 6700t SE's $300 coupon replaces the $150 instant rebate. So net you're getting a savings of $150 versus what's already on the HP site.

Heh I did the same with the $500 coupon. I had a great 17" HP loaded for $948 taxed & delivered but hesitated. On the 17" laptops they had some great free and reduced upgrades.

17" w core 2 duo @ 2.0ghz 2gb ram, 2 x 120gb 7200rpm HD, the dedicated videocard, burner w/lightscribe, fingerprint reader, camera, microphone, bluetooth, wireless to the max, and the highest res screen.

Ugh Todd. I know the feeling. Watched a $500 off coupon work Christmas Eve and then logged on Christmas morning before the rest of the family woke up only to find the coupon was invalid.

Waited patiently until mid-January or so and that's when I got lucky and saw the $500 off coupon posted here before it even hit FatWallet or any other site. I jumped and got my current system for less than a system I had built in Dec. with half the specs. By the time the $500 off coupon hit FatWallet, it only had about half a day of use left because it was dead by that evening.

 

For some reason the coupon I applied for a 6700 Se isn't working.

 

is only usable if your subtotal is 1199 or higher before adding the coupon.

 

I configured it over 1199, hmm I think its only for the silver dv6700t SE and not the black version.
