    I don't know, man. Even with the 25% coupon, you are looking at $1500 + tax for a decently spec envy 13 with the extended slice battery.

    It would be great if the Bing cashback offer works on the HP Mini. :) That way, I'll snap one up & go ahead selling my Vaio Z690 & unibody MBP notebooks in addition to what I'm currently trying to sell. :)

    Just like me, you have way too much stuff to sell. Since I just kind of figured out that I don't really need a laptop, I think I'm going to go ahead and try sell the newly bought Vaio SR soon. I already got a buyer for my SXPS 13, I need to return the Studio 14z, and then the Vaio SR. Too overwhelming.

    I assume this cashback should work for hp envy.

    Then I'm going to cancel my dell studio xps 16, it's less powerful and 1 lbs heavier, and it's a 1 year old model..

    plus, it will only ship after a month, who knows what happen later

    Not really, I just want a laptop that is well built, light weight, cool running, has a long lasting battery, slim, 13in or less, and be able to play 1080p x264 mkv no sweat. Apparently, that's very hard to find without having to sell my soul. the HP mini 311 might be my answer to all the frustration. :)

    I think there is a good chance it will. The one think I do know is, that you will not be able to combine it with HP EPP, and the Friends & Family program, or the HP Academy program! :(

    Waiting for more feedback... :D As soon as there more info will post it.

    I would hope it would last thru the 22nd at least! :cool:

    Unfortunately for me, it's more an issue of needing the money as I'm currently without a job & still couldn't snag one. :( I wouldn't even entertain the thought of selling those 2 "priced" possession & get a HP Mini 110 netbook if I have a job. :(

    Anyway, good luck to you for your Vaio SR notebook sale. :)

    It's not like you want to see me without a job or something. ;) Furthermore, it's also not like you'll be able to change my current situation. I just have to live with it & "slug" it through. ;) Don't feel sorry for me too. I believe I'm not the only one in this kind of jobless situation right now..... :( Hopefully, things will change for the better soon, for me as well as others in similar situations. :) But for the moment, every single penny counts. :D

    I paid half of that for my Dell! (sorta)
    But the OD BAy and the bat slice come in for 2000, mines the 25%, it is still 1500, waaay to expensive for me to change my Dell with sub woofer and similar config, for this. (besides, I cant pay it...lol)

    The configured prices for the Envy 13 don't make any sense. Inorder to downgrade your cpu from 1.8 to 1.6, you have to play $100?!!?! In order to downgrade your wireless by removing bluetooth, you have to pay $1k extra. That's messed up.

    Yeah, the pricing is kinda sucky at HP right now..it looks like they went an *upped* some of the models before the CB went live. But hey, that's there prerogative..? :rolleyes: The stock is depleting quickly also, alot of peeps are hitting up the CB...

    yes they did up the config on the envy. They are pretty much giving away free configs that are worth $200. The 1920 res screen, 500g HD, and bluetooth are all pretty much for free. With %25 CB you are pretty much getting a $2k Envy 15 for only $1.4k (including tax). You can either keep it or sell it on eBay for massive profit. But if you get scammed on eBay, you lose MASSIVE! :D

    As long as HP prompted you to log into your CB account upon entering the site, everything afterward is eligible for 25% cb. That's what happened when I shopped @ sears. You won't be getting a confirmation until at least 1/2 days later. If you do not get the confirmation from bing cb by then, just cancel the order.

    Dude, if you already have a really capable laptop, the Envy is a huge rip-off. It costs SOOO effing much. You can get a better spec SXPS 16 for WAY cheaper.

    Personally, I think the 9 cell is kind of pointless. The 9 cell is both heavy and ugly. Everything else looks really good tho, especially the screen :cool: Gratz on your new laptop!

    i also ordered 1645, but dell's weight is not exact, usually .5 to .7 heavier.
    So the envy 15 is 1.5 lighter than 1645,and much powerful. price difference around 12%
