Well I guess it's just enough to cover the tax charge in CA. Our Tax went up over 12% in one year.....

 

I am not sure of Bing now, after all the problems they gave me...

 

I don't understand what this means.

 

It means that Newegg will be increasing their Bing Cashback allotment to 10% on 11/25.

It gives you more money back into your Bing Cashback Account after purchases!

lol the temptation to overspend and get a ATI 5970 I wonder if they will even have any in stock.

Too bad it only has 1GB of usable VRAM or it would be the perfect card, but with only 1GB its not going to do as well as it should with ultra high resolutions so that is the ultimate reason I will be saving some money for now.

Not sure when it will end at this point...per Newegg FB and Twitter, it's just starting tomorrow at those designated times.

I would imagine, that it will last at least thru the Holiday Sales weekend.

Its not a Bing Deal, Its 10% cash back. you dont need to use a bing account.

 

Yes, it is a Bing Cashback deal. That is the only way you can get 10% Cashback from Newegg, and yes you do need a Bing Account (Windows Live ID Ie..Hotmail/Live)
Right now it's at 2% for Newegg BTW.

I have not used Bing cashback before but would like to take advantage of the 10% cashback this time. Had a question:

Do I have to search the specific item that I want to buy on bing and then click on it to go to Newegg to get the cashback? OR

Can I just search for say newegg, then click on the link and then go to Newegg to complete the purchase? Will I get cashback in this case?

Also, can I buy multiple items using the second approach? Will I get cashback on the entire purchase?

 

You can't just go to Newegg's site to get the bing discount. You should go through here. Just find Newegg in the list of stores and click on the link then purchase what you want. You need to basically go through the link I posted above for them to know that you are looking for the deal and have an account. You can buy multiple items and the cashback should work for the entire purchase.

No, sorry there isn't...as you enter Bing's Cashback thru different portals (ie. Bing's CB portal, and BOA's Add It Up Portal).

The reason I'm asking is because back in August when MS has that double the cashback % promotion, I bought a set of speakers thrice (already returned all of them though) from ABT Electronics going through bing search engine but checking out through PayPal. All 3 times, I didn't get any cashback information show up on my bing account. I waited for about 3 weeks (for cashback to show up in my account) for each of the items before returning them. Therefore, I thought that using PayPal might not have worked because the checkout process brings one out of the retailer web site & back to it after payment so it doesn't qualify.... Guess I'm wrong.

You will get an e-mail from Bing. Sometimes it's instant after purchase..sometimes it takes a little while. Hang in there. It will arrive!

If not w/in a few days, you can always send an e-mail to Bing with purchase information, and they are really great at followup!

Is it over already? If you search through Bing, there is a 10% statement near the newegg link! However, after clicking on it, it does not ask you to sign up whatsoever!

this sucks there was some things i was about to buy.. i just got home and hopped on to click buy and newegg is gone from bing???? anyone order in the last hour or so that got the 10% off..was not even supposed to start until 6pm eastern and looks like its gone now...

edit working again the banner is now back up and showing on newegg once more!!! it seems hit or miss now and that usually means it may end soon
