Yep, it's nice if your school or company participates in the program. It saves a pretty penny when you add the warranty.
-
yeah, its been there for a while...
however, the thing is they aren't offering the option for higher res yet. -
and also i just found that i can chnage the Wireless card to cheaper model and no bluetooth,,without those its $1,222.68+tax...thats pretty good, you can call dell and change the resolution.. iguess

Yes, You have to call dell to have a different resolution added. That is what I did.

Now to learn how to use VISTA...grrrr
also threw in a wireless mouse....woho... -
but i believe you , so im gonna give it a shot when ordering next month. -
Sorry if i bumb this.
But is MrRandom allowed to buy throw this link?
btw how do you get the discount in the first place? -
Yes can someone please say where to find the who's eligible link or info?
I clicked the above link and it just takes you to the standard conf page. Is there a code or coupon you have to enter to get this lower price? More info would be GREAT! I'm looking to get one this week, and this would take the hurt out of the purchase!
Thanks -
just saw the offer ends 12/31 damm. I was looking then but never found this thread.

Has anyone here bought through this program? What does Dell do to verify your eligibility? I'm going to look and see if I can find a list of who's eligible.
Savings on the decked out M1530 were $123 -
$1600 before tax puts you into the next highest percentage discount. By adding $100 more my build my discount went from $123 to $202.
-
At check out they ask for what company you work for. Anyone know who's on the list?
Thanks -
i was student and they just asked for my student ID. My order went in to production within 2 hour after i placed the order, i think they have list or something. plus those, if you buy with dell credit card, there is extra %4 off...

Just ordered a 1330 for my wife on her university student account, got the base config + red cover and 6 cell battery for 957$ shipped (and that includes 3 years in home service and 3 years Internet security). That's pretty amazing... makes me wish I could justify getting myself a 1530 right now.
