    Be careful, this is a 3.5" drive and not a notebook drive.

    Edit: to make it more obvious I've added the word Deskstar to the title.

    Was just about to come say the same thing.

    As a 3.5" desktop drive I do not think its that great of a deal. 500GB is an odd capacity (may as well get 1TB a sweet spot) and since there has been up to 2TB drives on sale for like $119 the cost per gb actually is not that great.

    Now if this was a 2.5" laptop drive this would have been a great deal!
