Fry's Electronics Newspaper Ad in Northern California (Bay Area) has this drive on sale July 2 thru July 8 for $59.99. Fry's online does not reflect this price but I confirmed that the price is correct (at least for our metropolitan area) by calling Fry's 1-877-688-7678 Customer Servie number.

Possibly it is on sale in your area also. Check your Fry's Ad or give them a call.

Not the newest HD on the block but still a knockout drive, especially for the price.

I can confirm that the Travelstar 7k500 is on sale for $59.99 at the Fry's in Fremont, CA. This is a great price for a solid HDD.
