Please note that the rebates take a very long time to come back to you. My rebate for the 2 I bought in December have been "in processing" for the last 2 months.

It depends, some take more time than others, i've seen some people taking up to a year though but they got it (those that did anyway).

Unfortunately, looking at Slickdeals, I'm not the only one. The company handling the rebates for the Hitachi units do seem rather slow.

I bought my Hitachi 200GB 7200rpm from ZZF with a rebate. I got the rebate back ok. It took average time(about 1.5 months) for me to get it. All the rebates I get take a few months to come back, except for the companies that allow me to file them myself online, without mailing them out. EX: Staples.
