So, for 2 weeks now i have been checking my local stores(Cyprus) for all kind of laptops.

    I was gonna spend about 1000-1200 cyp($2000-2400).

And finaly i decided to buy dell xps n1210 cause of nice price here in Cyprus(1100cyp) and i only found the laptop from 7-8 stores in 1 only.

(i found great HP laptops, REALLY great, but for god sake they are uglier than anything else i would ever buy)

I came to that store and told the man to get me rdy the xps. He asked me we got a new toshiba 12'+- and its chepaer and 2 years warranty.

I said but its got worst processors, graphics etc.

And he tells me, well wait a sec. After a call he tell me u will get a toshiba monster at same xps price!

    So i was gonna buy:

    Dell xps n1210
    Inte core 2 duo 7200 2.0GHz
    1gb RAM
    nvidia 7400go 256mb
    120gb 5600rpm
    12.1"
    1 YEAR warranty
    AND all its features

    <<<for 1100cyp>>>

FOR same price i just bought

    Toshiba u200(latest)
    Inte core 2 duo 7200 2.0GHz
    2gb RAM
    ATI x1600 512mb
    100gb 7200rpm
    15.4"
    2 YEARs warranty
    AND all its features

As i see it, I only lost the great mobility of xps, BUT i got a better grahpics, more ram, better screan, GREAT 2 years warranty.

So finaly i am happier than ever! :)

indeed, mobility was an issue, between 12-15, i wanted XPS cause it looked so nice and so small, but now instead of small and cool, got bigger and faster :)

I would like to know about this since I am in the market for a small, but powerful laptop, and can't break the bank.

12inchers are always sold at a premium. You can get a great 15inch for the price of a 12inch. Just that 12inchers have a good look/battery/'wow' factor
