    I am attending a univeristy this Fall and am planning on buying a gaming laptop. Am I able to recieve a student discount and if so how do I go about getting it?

    first off, what brand are you looking to buy?
    HP, Dell, and Apple each have student discounts on their products

    shopping.hp.com/student
    dell.com/epp
    apple.com/education

    any other brand you'll have to do some google research for yourself

    also check campus store. they sometimes have amazing clearance sale like 2.4GHz MBP for $1,499.

    The most surefire way is to call the company you're buying from and ask. They'll usually require some form of proof though, like a student ID scan or something.
