This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    These disappeared quickly last time (dedicated graphics equipped ones), so if anyone is interested:

    Retail is $800-$900.

    They only ship to the U.S but you can use an international credit card and bill internationally.

    These are a good deal better than the previous generations of the dell studio 15, though this y530 is fairly heavy. Sturdy build, lush and high nit screen , decent speakers, and 4 gb of ddr3 + comparable graphics, and 64-bit vista makes this a compelling buy. If I weren't delaying my own purchase, this lenovo would already be mine.
