In this thread http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=167555 princealyy posted the details from a Dell mailer. (I received the same mailer.) The specs listed XGA+ display. A few posts later, CitizenPanda provided a link. Unfortunately, his link was to an offer with XGA, not XGA+. The synopsis of my chat with Dell was this: "Person A posts the details of an offer. Person B posts a link to an offer. Just because we thought we were getting the deal person A posted is not the responsibility or fault of Dell. Neither post was by Dell." Grudgingly, I agree with that. I think I'm going to cancel my order Monday.

Please take insipid remarks elsewhere. This thread is to alert anyone who used CitizenPanda's link for their purchase and give them a chance to review/cancel/change their order. With the current $599 deal, a few people may want that option.

CRAP!! I used that Panda link and my order is supposed to ship tomorrow. Does Dell charge anything for canceling an order? I might as well get the $599 deal. You get 50% more hard drive BUT 50% less memory. You get the 9 cell battery BUT it's bulky, sticks out the back , extra weight, etc. and some people don't want that. I like this offer as much as I liked the $649. CRAP!!

Ok man, breathe. Dell has a satisfaction guarantee. Worst case scenario you can return it, you may even be able to cancel it before it ships.

Here's the number I was told to use for modifications to orders/cancellations by Dell when I called this morning:
    1(800) 456-3355

    Call first thing tomorrow morning.
