Yep, slickdeals. I figured that I would inform people who don't check those sites out.

Thought so.. I saw that there too. But good find and thanks for posting it. ;) Also you should be able to get another 5% off. 2% when using a dell preferred card. Then 3% cash back via fatwallet.com . That would bring the price down to as low as $1074!

Is there a certain order to place these coupons. I tried a few times but it will not stack the coupons.

I just ordered the e1705 with similar configuration for 1300 just by using two coupons that totalled $850. I'm getting it in two weeks with free shipping. I'm a tad bewildered as to how you got the proce so low...I gather you used more than Dell's own coupons?

When I configured that notebook on the 10th, I was able to get the price to that price. Dells prices can change daily, as they are always offering different deals, and different upgrade prices. Keep an eye out on slickdeals.net, as they are usually the first to configure these great deals.

Edit: Just let this thread die, as the deal is no good anymore.

I'm looking for the same deal just with the 7200RPM HD. Hey I'm out at sea and internet speed sucks or doesn't work at all. by the time I read these threads the coupon is dead. If anyone catches a deal please email me @ [email protected].
