Well, I was browsing around for a good deal on the nx9420 and stumbled upon a deal from Intel. They will get you an Intel Relax Pack ($400 worth, according to them) for free with any Intel Core Duo notebook... This includes...
1. BackPack (with a huge ugly Intel logo on the front)
2. Skype starter kit
3. $100 Mariott Bonus bucks coupon
4. Mariott 2 for 1 golf coupon
5. A Pad Folio + Pen
6. A $5 off coupon for WiFi in the Sky
7. 20 free Wi Fi sessions at AT&T hotspots

-
Thanks for the link. The 20 free AT&T wireless sessions would be nice to have.
From the fine print: "Offer valid on purchases must be made between 7/5/06 and 9/5/06 or while supplies last."
Alas, i bought my notebook a week too soon. -
I'll send you mine, perhaps.
-
What did you guys put for business name?
-
Does Dell's laptop come with a UPC code? Is it on the box? It's required for this offer.
-
ya i have that same question too. help anyone?
-
Relax from what though? the excitement of getting a new laptop ?
-
oh, its a relax "vacation" pack. So you would be relaxing on your vacation to the mariott hotel while surfing the inet using those free minutes and talking to your family using the skype thingy. etc.
-
Oh, that WOULD be relaxing.
-
i just called the number and asked them...she said the upc is the sticker on the dell box thats not the ups shipping one. It has your order number on it. It has four bar codes. Thats what she said atleast...call the number on the form and ask them if you ahve questions

So is this only for small business owners? The website does not mention if we have to buy a business class notebook or not but the form asks to fill in the business name.
Any idea what we should fill in the bus. name as? -
i asked the lady that also when i called. She said to just put "n/a".
-
the xps boxes have 4 bar code labels, one on each side. i agree the wifi hotspot coupons are the best part of it.
-
Bummer! I threw away the box! Where else can the UPC code be found?
-
Would an Apple Macbook work for this?
-
is there a barcode on the receipt/packing slip for dell computers?
-
Too bad Connexion by Boeing is dead(Boeing gave up before selling). Oooh a free backpack eh?
-
How would one do this with ebay? A copy of the Paypal transaction as a recipt?
-
give em a call and ask!
-
Oh sorry forgot to update. They said Paypal transaction copy is no problem and even though UPC says 04/23/2006. The lady said that I am eligable because I bought the latop on 08/08/2006.
-
I just got my Relax Pack today!
Thank you so much for informing us about this! -
-
I plan on getting it myself... Backpacks are so expensive these day. Say, is the backpack big enough to hold a 17"? Or can it only fit a 15.4"?
-
Kudos to Intel for having the fastest turn around time on free stuff in history. It took just over a week from when I sent the form to when UPS delivered the box.
Shame on them, though, because the notebook pocket in the backpack is ridiculusly small. I have my doubts as to whether it would fit a 15" screen, let alone my 17" laptop. In fact, I just measured the padded notebook sleave and its dimensions are 10" by 10" by 2", with maybe an inch where it could stick out the top. What would that fit? Maybe a 12 inch?
Funny, though, I'm excited all the same, even though I'll never be able to use it. -
ya i just got mine a few days ago...Its pretty cool, plus its free!
it didnt take long
