I noticed my local BB is carrying a 40gb and 80gb version of the Intel SSD.

    I think the 40 was a V and the 80 was an M.

    $129 and $229 respectively.

$229 for an 80GB...that sounds like the X25-M alright.

Lmao, I know. I asked the guy what's up with the SSD's (FutureShop is selling the Kingston's) he told me that every of these Hard Disc Drive had a microprocessor in it, so they can manage the data and give a better overall performance.. I was shocked :p That was right after another guy had told me the i5 the same as i7, but without turbo boost.

I picked the X25-M up on BB.com while they still showed back-ordered last week. I won a dynex tv at my high school graduation party and returned it to best buy. I took the gift card and bought the SSD, it only cost me about $40 total. :)
