I wonder if that price is part of the sale tomorrow or if it will be even cheaper.

That shipped price for retail that also includes a full receipt for warranty kinda kills a few of them oem boxed units within the market place topic area here ;)
Looks like them sellers will need to lower the prices so that the risk & reward competes with current market prices, people know when buying from newegg or other will have 100% fulll warranty and can pay direct and not via paypal.
Only lower prices to come as production ramps up

Are Bing discounts still active with Newegg? Doesn't seem to be coming for me at the moment. It'd only be like $8 difference, but still...

It's back up to $499 and they put their OEM version "on sale" for $414. Newegg fail again.

Newegg is playing games with their prices. So much for obeying the MSRP.

That's what everyone keeps promising. From the G1, to the G2, now the upcoming G3. Everyone keeps saying it will lower prices, but in fact many (most) charge rediculous prices for it, still.

I used the term loosely. It will one day get updated, but who knows when? I don't have any information. There's been some talk of the G3, that's all I know. I was simply stating as with the evolution of computer hardware, everything gets updated eventually. :p
I was reading an article about it recently, I think at Anandtech, which stated the next incarnation is "supposed to lower prices". I just don't believe it, hence my above post. :)

With the G2, you get TRIM, which seems to be all the rage. Prices just need to come down. There are good deals now and then, you just have to keep a good eye on it, and be ready to purchase the moment they come, cause Newegg has proven that deals can last just a day...
