    How fast is the file transfer? I'm guessing it depends on the hard drive speeds?

    It would be limited to USB 2.0 most likely, figure 25-35MB/s sustained typically (less for smaller files).

    Nice idea. Didn't realize they made something like this. Good cheap way to manage between two PC's.

    But if you are already on a gigabit network you can remotely control any PC through Windows built-in remote desktop or other VNC app.
