Is HP sale worth it?

I am planning to buy the HP dv2700t (specs below) for $980 during the HP 4th of July sale. The normal price would be $1200 for this configuration. I am not in a huge hurry, so is it likely that I would be able to find a much better deal than this in the next month or so? I saw that I just missed a $500 off coupon. Are they available often? Any input would be great.

I'd probably wait...
I've been eyeballing possibly doing a dv2700t, because I like the 14.1" size, and although the 8400M GS is not exactly a framerate-machine, it is better than X3100 integrated graphics.

That being said, if you don't need it *NOW*, I would wait...

There's also one model in the retail channel, that might end up getting clearanced-out at CC/BB in the near future when the next generation dv4 comes out later July/August.

Waiting never hurts with electronics as long as you have time.

As for the coupons, there are some HP coupons that come on this site, but I think quite rarely are they as much as $500 as far as I have seen.

do yourself a favor and wait for the studio 15 as it looks awesome
it will be my replacement for 1330 if the price is right.

 

14 july intel announce for new centrino2 processors .
Old one will be more cheaper thats it.
