    Hey everyone,

I didn't know what section to post it in, so I thought this would be best. I have a Dell Latitude D600, and I wanted to get some cash for it.

Does anyone have experience with this website or know if it's some crooked site that'll steal my computer?

How It Works | Understand The 4 Step Process To sell Your Old, Used or Broken Laptop Online and Get Top Cash Paid For It

That is the link for how the process works.

Or if you don't know, can you tell me how I would FIND OUT if it is or not?

    Thanks a lot =)

I'm also looking to get some cash for my old laptop. Most reviews I found of this company is negative. They often said the company would respond with a lower quote once they received the laptop citing poor cosmetic value or some other issue with the laptop to give you a low payout.

I found a website called Laptoptraderexpress.com which is the exact same service. The quote they gave me was 6$ more than cashforlaptops. I only found 2 reviews of it and both were positive. Apparently service is fast and in both occasions, payout was received in under a week.

Not sure if it's legit or not, couldn't find a lot of info about them.

I think there's something wrong with the Laptop trader website - when I put in a Gateway 7422GX with nothing wrong it offers me $130, but when I say the screen is defective it offers me $200. Uhh....ok? :D

Well, I don't know about that site but www.eztradein.com is legit. I have traded an old Toshiba laptop, and 2 monitors so far and haven't had an issue with the quote given online and the cash I received. In fact, they gave me $20 more for the laptop than what I was quoted online.

The site the OP posted does seem a little high on the quotes even without asking a lot of detailed questions.
