Good price, but just fyi to anybody buying, these require intel XMP support to run at 1600mhz.

They also have no real effect on gaming vs 1333, but I posted them because a lot people like them. This article talked me out of em though.

Integrated gaming is affected by better memory.

True integrated graphics will benefit. Also CPU intensive games like SC2 could possibly benefit also. The article I posted above tested GPU intensive games, not CPU intensive ones.

Are these better than the stock 8GB upgrade that Alienware offers for the M14x? Also will they run at 1600Mhz just as the 8GB ones from Alienware?
