    In a notebook no, on a notebook, yes. Get an 5.25" enclosure such as this one.

    Thats my understanding of it. I would recommend one that uses eSata to be safe, but it might work run HDCP over USB (needed for hi-def Blu-ray movies). It should still burn discs and such perfectly fine over USB. Note that the deal was a one day only thing.
