This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I have ONE day left to return my SZ...
    This sale is so **** sweet, I'm seriously considering the X60s ;(
    Quick questions, though:

    Is the L2400 processor updatable to Merom?

    Why does it say 3.97 pounds as opposed to 2.7 (is it factoring the ultrabase and ultrabay drive and extended battery?)

    Is the free 512 MB a chip that they just give you?

    Based on what I've read it appears the L2400 will be upgradable, but i'm not not 100% sure.

    Note from the Lenovo website regarding the 3.97 lbs.:
    "Includes battery and optional travel bezel instead of standard optical drive in Ultrabay™ modular bay, if applicable; weight may vary due to vendor components, manufacturing process and options."

    512MB of RAM is shipped loose and customer installed.
