If you're a student you can score this deal on the Lenovo IdeaPad Z580 for $399, anyone else it's $499 (still a good deal). Here's how to get it:
1. Find the Lenovo IdeaPad Z580-2151-28U laptop at Staples, use the online site to see if they have it locally
2. Tell the clerk at Staples you have a $100 off coupon using code 57162 or print this coupon Staples.com® | Staples® Coupons ($100 off coupon for any Lenovo laptop at Staples through 8/4/2012, must be used in store)
3. Use the $100 off Staples Student rebate, you need to present a Student ID card at the register to get this deal apparently, heres a link to the Z580 Student $100 rebate form for online (its Rebate offer number 12-96392 good through September) https://www.stapleseasyrebates.com/promocenter/staples/promotion.html?sku=931147
The Z580 on sale is usually $799 but has an instant discount of $149 and then add in the other discounts and the total savings is $350. Comes with Core i5-3210M, 15.6" screen, 8GB RAM, 750GB HD. The Z580 has the same look and build as the popular Y580, just no dedicated graphics. Good deal -- if you're a student especially!

Is it possible to add a dedicated graphics card to it?

No, the Z series is integrated graphics only. The Y series IdeaPad carries dedicated graphics.

Sold out on the site.

630m can be added... what might be the case is that the motherboards are different for every z580 though... I'm going to buy a z580 anyway, I'll see about an mxm slot...

Good deal indeed (for students off course)!
Usually, lenovo models ending in "5" like the e425 or z575 will be AMD-powered, whereas the ones ending in "0" will be Intel-powered like the e420 or z580.
"Adding" a discrete gpu will most than likely mean swapping motherboards.
