This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I wonder if it uses the USB-protocol?

    Edit: Nvm. It does use the USB-protocol, so in reality it's a 16GB CF card in the shape of an expresscard. But then again, for that price one couldn't really expect much else.

    Can be used for DOS boot for flashing bios. It is less prone to damage [bending] and loss than a USB Thumb Drive. 16 gb is the largest size currently available.
