Best Buy has the Logitech Anywhere Mouse MX on sale for $39.99. This is the full, retail package and even with sales tax would cost less than at most online stores.

It would be worth a try at this price, and it would be easier to return if you don't like it.

Amazon has it for 39.99 as well, with free shipping and no tax*. You also get to choose between frustration-free or retail packaging. I just ordered one.

    * unless you're in one of those states that taxes online transactions

Don't forget you'd be docked a shipping fee if you send it back, plus you would have to wait for a refund. Six of one, half a dozen of the other, I guess.

It's weird, though, because when I checked Amazon earlier today, it was $49.99 for the retail package and $39.99 for the "frustration free" one. They must have updated recently to match the Best Buy price (Amazon has done this for video game deals).

Do you goes know if this mouse is neutral? Lefties and righties. Looks like it in the pics. There are no that many options out there for us.

The mouse is not contoured specifically for righties like the MX518, G500, or G700, but the thumb buttons are only on the left side.

I have this mouse and it's the best portable mouse I've ever used. The 'dark' field technology works as advertised. Highly recommended.

As for left handed users, the only problem you'll run into are the thumb buttons are on the left side.

Have you ever bought from Amazon?

If you have to return something due to defect its free, and if you need a refund its almost instant.

Amazon has the best customer service out there, never any issues with them. Id purchase from there over Best Buy even if the price was the same (but its not due to tax) also I hate driving to, and waiting in line at stores. Thats gas & time both of witch = money.

And if it's not defect free, you have to pay. Don't respond with, "Well, just say it's defective because then you won't have to pay." Dishonest stuff like that is what can cause prices to go high and companies get more strict with return policies.
