Is the non-user serviceable battery difficult to replace when it doesn't hold a charge anymore?

Have mine for about a year now, the battery needs charging a little bit more regular than once a week.

As far as directly answering your question--I would imagine that it is.

EDIT how many user servicable batteries can you buy for $39 and what is THEIR lifespan?

Not yet..amazon.com is the cheapest right now price wise at $79.99.

Since Logitech just released the Anywhere Mouse & Performance Mouse, I would expect pricing to go down slightly in a bit of time! :)

I was asking to find out if anyone here had replaced the rechargeable battery in the MX Revolution mouse & whether it is very hard to do so... Anyway, I goggle a bit & found out more about the replacement battery & it seems that the MX Revolution mouse is using the exact same battery pack as the G7 mouse.

For what its worth - I have two MX1000s that are 4+ years old and still run just fine in terms of battery. They might not last as long as they first did, but for $40, you will get several years worth easy.
