I saw this mentioned on notebookcheck to give credit but there is no link to the deal in their article.

    EDIT: ALREADY SOLD OUT:

    MSI GF65 Thin 9SD-837 - 15.6" 144 Hz - Intel Core i7-9750H - GeForce GTX 1660 Ti - 8 GB Memory - 512 GB SSD - Windows 10 Home - Gaming Laptop

    + $250 off w/ promo code 93XQJ79, limited offer,

9hrs left as of this post.

    Included Free--MSI Gaming Mouse M99 (S12-0400C90-V33)

Not bad for 750 with a free gaming mouse included. Not sure about build quality but for that price it's not relatively too large an investment. Only has 8gb ram as well. Free shipping too. No shady rebates from MSI to deal with just enter the code and that's it.

My brother has the 10750h SKU and it works pretty well for him, The build quality is meh, but it's great for the price. Upgrading is easy but be very careful, when I installed another 8gb stick, I had lots of trouble removing the battery from the MOBO, and even though I thought it was unplugged, after lifting the display panel, it turned on because of how weak the brushed metal is, causing the metal to bend turning on the power. It's a great budget laptop, but the build quality is again, quite weak, but I guess that's one of the downfalls of cheaper laptops.

I was curious, did he get the version with the MSI rebate card? If so did it go smoothly to register it and use it? Been reading all over that they deliberately make it very hard to get it or use it.

No, he got it during the Walmart Black Friday sale for around 800 USD.
