That 8600GT is sorta crippled with DDR2, but otherwise very nice specs.

I'm still waiting for word from MSI on whether the GX630 for $800 has DDR2 or DDR3.

The GX630 has DDR3 and getting this MSI GX700 for $699 is really a great deal.

I was looking at this too, but I have never seen an MSI so I am a bit worried.
    Do they make good machines?

well im thinking about it a little like this

i could take the t8300 out, and the wsxga screen and the 3200 gb hd and put them all in my machine then put those parts from my machine in the msi the id still have two machines

for 699 that could almost be worth it for me

switch out the 2 gb for my one 1 gb too and have 4 gb

for $25 extra you can buy a Kingston 1x2gb ram (free shipping) and get 4gb :D (plus 1 extra 1gb ram)

and for the guy who asked if MSI is a good brand since he has never seen that brand.

ITS GREAT. It isnt that well known in laptop scene, but it is a very high recognized in the motherboard and other desktop supplies manufacturer.

Sounds really fishy. Don't trust that source man. If you really want it, search around in Ebay for it, don't forget to use the $200 cashback thingy for your best bang for the buck.
