I just ordered a Xbox 360 Fightstick TE Round 2 version, it was like $105.00 after the 30% off + 7 for S&H, same price I found at buy.com but they only had round 1 and I like the look of round 2 a lot more so I paid the extra $10 or so with this deal for the 2 day shipping.

Yeah thats where I saw it.

Im already looking to add a MC Chthulhu to my TE stick with RJ45 so it will work with PS3 & My Wii in addition to the standard 360.

I was just going to use the boards I already have but I hate to destroy the work I did. I think I will just spend the $$$ and get another one and save my current setup for a MAME cabinet later in life.

    The MC Cthulhu's

I dont think I will worry about Dreamcast support on the TE stick, but have that covered also on the old setup

I have only poked around at Blazblue, nobody to play against and didnt take the time to really mess with VS the CPU.

These japanese style sticks are ideal for games like blazblue, it took me a bit of work to get the controls right with my wii classic controllers (had to use the 360 controller emulator and had a lot of issues getting player #2 to work) as that is what I used to play the game at the time. I'll be much more prone to play when the TE gets here.

Another deal that I wont make a separate thread for is Amazon has 15% off if you get both Super Street Fighter 4 and the Black Fightstick Tournament Edition S at the same time. Comes out under $150 shipped. So if you need/want both its cheaper than this deal for the new S version of the TE stick.

if anyone would like a HRAP3 (PS3) PM me. I bought it from Amazon last summer thinking I'd use it, but I picked up a TE stick as well and never sent the HRAP 3 back.

    I never even opened it.

Using the 20% discount, the SSF4 stick is $1 cheaper than Amazon since Amazon has free shipping, but I'd get 2 day delivery with gameshark store vs 5-10 with Amazon super saver. Good deal.

It was not that price when I posted about it though. The PS3 was but not the 360.

I have no reason to make something up like that so take my word for it.

In related news... I am thinking about getting one of the Wii TvC sticks also. I plan to mod my TE stick so that it will work with my Wii in the same fashion as my old sticks do, but the primary benifit is the dedicated wii stick is wireless and acts as a classic controller rather than a gamecube controller.

I have a SE stick on the way too but its back ordered so after I get to use it I will determine if I would like a 2nd one just for the Wii.

I just ordered 90 feet of Kynar 30ga wire on ebay last night to do my mods with. Now need to get a few different specialized PCB's and maybe some drill tools and a new soldering iron tip and I should be ready to mod :D

Well and some expensive specialized parts too like the locking RJ45 ports and cable headers.

Oh and the TvC stick should work with a computer via bluetooth as well, that would be neat to mess with. There is even a beta of 64bit PPJoy finally in the works not that you need it for a digital stick though, just glovepie and maybe the 360 controller emulator.

It also should work with computer via the mayflash usb adapter I have as well as PS3.
