This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Red is not an OS; it's just a thing where they donate 10 dollars of each purchase to charity.

    Anyway, what you would be buying is Vista Ultimate, and that'd mean you'd have to have a current OS to upgrade from, so it depends on what you're running right now whether or not you'll need to buy Vista/XP (probably you won't if you already have one of them)

    Keep in mind that many universities offer low cost software at steep discounts, i.e. Microsoft Office for $1, so check with your school before buying.

    and msndaa, but it takes a while to setup through your school, but free vista business and other softwares.
