Megavision 22" or Acer 22"

Hi,

The Megavision 22" has just got on sale at TigerDirect.ca it is 229,99 after mail rebate. with shipping its the same price I paid my Acer 22" at Future Shop.

The acer is a 800:1 and the Megavision is 1000:1

So I would say that the Megavision is better because of the contrast ratio but is it really a better monitor.. Is megavision better than Acer ?

fyi if you have a local office depot the acer you listed is 179.03 if picked up locally

 

zfactor, where did you see that? I can't find it on the canadian website and on the american one it is $250: http://www.officedepot.com/ddSKU.do?level=SK&id=288510&N=265500&An=browse

 

I can't find it either... same conclusion as dark5.

 

go to where you can choose pick up.. then it will ask for your zip code. pick a local store. then go to the top search bar and put the item number in.. it will then show up as the disounted price.. but you cant ship it for this price..

Shows up as $249.xx on their web site.

Office Depot has the Acer AL2216Wbd 22" Black Widescreen LCD for $179.03. In-store only.

Steps for checking instore prices via the online website:

1) Go to OfficeDepot.com
2) select "view cart"
3) select "pick up at store"
4) "find a store" will come up. select the first one you want to check.
5) enter sku ###### in the search field
6) if you get a "No results found for '######'" or "low availability", press back on your browser twice, and select another store.
7) repeat steps 5 & 6 until you find a store that has it. If you want a more accurate search, visit your local store so they can check availability at other stores for you.
8. Click Checkout and choose payment method, you can Select CASH and pay in store.

 

wow i just re-checked and it says its no longer available online??? i just was looking at this item?? sorry guys i picked one up yesterday for the 179 price.. sucks they pulled it down okay i see if you pick local pickup and add it to the cart it sayd no longer available so that means now it can only be bought through delivery at 249.00

it is available refurbished at officemax.com for 179 also

personally i like the chi mei at newegg for 209 after rebates i saw that screen and it is very nice
