    It's a Sandforce drive, so exercise caution. The good news is that Mushkin is one of the easier companies to deal with in terms of warranty/RMA support.

    I've owned three (not of the 480GB variety, though) and none lived past 90-day mark.

    You'd have to pay me an awful lot to ever consider a Mushkin SF-based SSD again. Still love their RAM, though.

    YMMV.

    Yeah, unfortunately, name brand doesn't mean much when it comes to SSD's. Mushkin has a great history of quality and reliability with RAM, but doesn't always carry over to SSD's.
