That is a sick deal, especially with the three-year warranty and 9-cell battery. The RAM is a cheap aftermarket upgrade and so is the hard drive.

$400 for that Acer, and it's a decent machine.
But if I needed a new main machine (the Acer is a secondary machine), then the E6400 might be it . . . -
allfiredup you're really not helping my craving to buy a new laptop.
Something else people might consider is M2400 as it's nearly the same as the E6400 with a better GPU. There are still lot of them with LED screens at decent prices as were the E6400 are becoming kind of slim.
