    The last thing I need for my Acer 3820TG (see sig) is to add 8GB of high quality 1066 ram. I'm looking for some great Black Friday or pre-season sale. Highest quality at the best price. Any ideas?

    Pretty much all these name branded memories are from the same few manufacturers, so get the cheapest one like the Super Talent one posted above.

    in the desktop world they overclock their ram


    so hitachi chips makes a difference.

    In the laptop world it makes no difference. No known speed difference between any of the brands. No reliability factor
