    I'm not sure...you would need to take the measurements of the 1730 against the measurements above, and you should be able to tell ;) :D

    M1730 is bulky than other 17" notebooks so I was curious. Tried different 17" sleeves but none on them worked.

    I ended up not getting it. My dad has a $30 bestbuy coupon, so I'm going to get a Solo AlwaysOn sleeve instead. I like the idea of having a bit of protection on it 24/7. :D

    A sleeve protects your laptop if you don't want to carry it in a bag...or if you want to give it added protection when placing it in a bag such as a tote, messenger bag, backpack etc.

    It can protect it from surface scratches, bumps, nick's etc.

    I use one for my Netbook, and it works out great...as I normally carry that in my handbag or a small tote ~ an it protect it just fine!

    But for a 17" adding a sleeve doesn't really help you carry it, and something that big looks ridiculous strapped to someone's back.

    The coupon code has since expired.... :( Sorry..it is now priced at $8.99, still not a bad deal for a Neoprene sleeve.

    It really comes down to personal choice. Sleeves are meant for that added protection for laptops.

    I am not sure...Here are the dimensions of the sleeve:
    Laptop Sleeve Dimensions: 15.25" x 11" x 0.75"

    You will want to measure against your 1730.

    It may, but will be a *tight* fit.
